Columbia Office Fall 2019 Interns
We’re happy to celebrate our five fall interns at our Columbia office this week!
George Sich is a sophomore at USC with plans to major in Accounting. George is from Aiken, South Carolina and is friends with proofer, Jake Day, who he knows through the Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship. George is looking forward to learning firsthand about his chosen profession.
Jake Day is a senior majoring in Finance and Economics with a minor in Accounting at the University of South Carolina. Jake has worked as an intramural referee at USC and as a part-time clerk at a retail store. He is currently serving as President of the Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship at USC.
Joel Welch is currently a MACC student at the University of South Carolina and is working as a graduate assistant for the MACC program. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with majors in Accounting and Finance and minors in German and Spanish. He has prior work experience as a finance controlling intern at BMW in Greenville, SC. He also served as President of Rotaract on campus.
Zack Kaplan is a junior at USC majoring in Accounting. Zack has experience working in the Office of the Provost at the University and as a lifeguard on the weekends. He also taught Hebrew for six years at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Columbia. He is currently a member of the Entrepreneurship Club as well as an officer of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity at USC.
Jacob Stier is a junior majoring in accounting at USC. He is from New Jersey and found out about the position through a fellow proofer. Jacob has prior work experience as a Tax/Operations Intern where he assisted in filing tax returns on the local, state and federal level. He is a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity at USC and is a former Taekwondo Instructor.
